Roseburg, Ore. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), South River Field Office has released the 42 Divide Forest Management Plan Environmental Assessment (EA) and unsigned Finding of No
Significant Impacts (FONSI). The posting of this EA and unsigned FONSI initiates a 30-day public comment period. Information can be found on the project website, where comments can be
submitted as well: https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-ui/project/2016400/510.

The BLM has scheduled a public field trip to view forests within the project area and gain a better understanding of the proposed forest treatments. The field trip will be held on Thursday, May 15,
2025, and will start from the Camas Valley Fire Station, 142 Burma Rd, Camas Valley, OR 97416-9713, at 9 a.m. and end around 2 p.m.

The field trip will require 4-wheel drive and high-clearance vehicles. Attendees will need to bring their own food, water, and dress appropriately for the weather and field conditions.

We encourage carpooling and might be limiting the number of vehicles on the field tour for safety reasons.

To ensure the BLM can accommodate those who would like to participate in the field trip, please contact gdeimel@blm.gov or (541) 464-3258 to RSVP.
