Acura notched their fourth pole position of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, with Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian's Tom Blomqvist going P1 in his #60 Acura ARX-06.
The pole position gives Acura vital points in the IMSA manufacturers' championship, shrinking the gap to just two points ahead of tomorrow's 10-hour season-ending Petit Le Mans race from Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
Blomqvist and teammates Colin Braun and Scott Dixon are in the thick of the fight for the Michelin Endurance Cup as well, sitting just three points behind in that championship-within-a-championship which awards points in the five longest races of the season.
Blomqvist and Braun are looking for their second Petit Le Mans win as a pairing, and Acura MSR's third Petit win in four seasons following triumphs in 2022 and 2023. Dixon himself is a two-time winner at Petit Le Mans, including last year with current Acura MSR teammate Renger van der Zande.
The #93 Acura ARX-06 will be rolling off third for tomorrow's finale, with Nick Yelloly, van der Zande and newcomer to the Acura GTP stable, Tristan Vautier. Yelloly and Vautier are looking for their first Petit Le Mans victories, while van der Zande is seeking his fifth trip to victory lane in the 10-hour classic.

Quotes
Tom Blomqvist (#60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Qualified 1st: "Turning up for qualifying, we weren't too sure where we were going to stack up to be honest. We struggled a little bit in practice, but the team worked super hard overnight to see if there were some things that we could try and improve on in the car, and the Acura really came alive. Our car is typically pretty good when the weight comes out of it and you put new tires on and have a fresh track. Really happy for everyone at Acura MSR and HRC. They work really, really hard. We took a bit of a gamble it seemed to pay off."
Nick Yelloly (#93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) Qualified 3rd: "First and third for Acura in qualifying, which is great. We missed two of the practice sessions yesterday, so to put the #93 third on the grid with no laps and no qualifying simulations, I was pretty happy with that. Long race tomorrow, but we're starting at the sharp end which is what we both needed on both side of the garage. It's a few more points for Acura in the manufacturers' championship, so I'm very happy with the effort from all the guys and gals at MSR and HRC. Let's get them tomorrow."
