Reno Park Rangers Invite Community Members to “Walk with Us” Events
The City of Reno invites community members to participate in a series of walks with park rangers to explore local outdoor spaces. The "Walk With Us" series is designed to be inclusive of individuals with limited mobility, people living with dementia and their care partners, and all members of the community.
The series will take place throughout 2026, with park rangers guiding attendees through the changing seasons. Each walk will take place on Wednesdays, last approximately one hour and begin at 11 a.m. at the James D. Hoff Peace Officers Memorial at Idlewild Park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring water, wear a hat, closed-toed shoes, and weather-conscious clothing. All walks are weather permitting.
