Since joining March Networks in November 2024, Jim has quickly become a trusted resource for customers and colleagues working through complex fraud and operational challenges.

Rather than waiting for customers to identify a problem, Jim digs into video and transaction data, looks for unusual patterns and tests different theories to better understand what is happening.

That approach recently helped uncover a significant organized retail fraud scheme. Working with a customer and using March Networks' video security and business analytics technology, Jim identified suspicious patterns connected to a scheme that had been operating for nearly a year. The investigation ultimately helped uncover more than $850,000 worth of diverted product in a single year.

Helping customers build on what they learn

Finding the fraud was only part of the story.

Jim worked closely with the customer's team to explain his investigative approach and show them how they could use similar techniques themselves. With that knowledge, the team was better equipped to recognize suspicious activity and investigate potential fraud earlier.

It's an approach that reflects how Jim works more broadly: helping customers get more value from technology they already have while identifying new and practical ways to solve business problems.

His experience in the field has also made him an important internal resource at March Networks, helping teams better understand emerging fraud schemes, evolving customer challenges and new applications for intelligent video and data analytics.
