Secretary General meets Foreign Secretary of Nepal
Secretary General of SAARC His Excellency Md. Golam Sarwar had a courtesy meeting with the Foreign Secretary of Nepal His Excellency Amrit Bahadur Rai at the latter's office today. The Secretary General congratulated the Foreign Secretary on assuming the important responsibility and welcomed him to SAARC fraternity as the Chair of SAARC Standing Committee.
The Secretary General briefed the Foreign Secretary on the recent developments within SAARC and upcoming activities. The two dignitaries emphasized SAARC as the most important regional platform for the development in South Asia and stressed on revitalisation of SAARC mechanisms at the higher level.
