Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yiannis Loverdos, will travel to Jerusalem on Holy Saturday, April 19, to attend the Ceremony of the Holy Light at the Church of the Resurrection. The Deputy Minister will receive the Holy Light from His Beatitude Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, with whom he will have a meeting.

The arrival of the Holy Light at Athens Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" is expected at around 19:00 in the afternoon of the same day, and then it will be distributed throughout the Greek territory.
