COLUMBIA, S.C., Aug. 24, 2026 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a Comfort Suites in Columbia, South Carolina, by Fort Jackson.
"We sold this asset for a repeat client to a regional operator," said Jack Davis, senior managing director investments in Marcus & Millichap's Charleston office. "This is the second time we have sold this hotel, and we wish continued success to the new owners."
Davis, Eric Webster, Joce Messinger and Chase Dewese of Marcus & Millichap exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.
Located at 1540 Daulton Drive, the four-story hotel was built in 2008 and sits on a 1.45-acre lot. The property has 77 rooms and amenities including onsite parking, an indoor pool, a fitness center, business center and meeting spaces.
The property is situated at the intersection of Interstate 20 and Interstate 77, near Fort Jackson, the U.S. Army's largest basic combat training installation. The hotel is also less than 10 miles from downtown Columbia and the University of South Carolina and near Scout Motors production facility and Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
