5/7 - AERIAL MOSQUITO LARVICIDING

The Sussex County Office of Mosquito Control will be conducting aerial applications on May 7, 2025 between the hours of 6 AM and 8 PM.

The Office will be using the product Vectoprime FG EPA Reg# 73049-501 with the active ingredient of BTI (Bacillus thuringiensisisraelensis) and (S)-methoprene for the control of larval (immature, Aquatic state) mosquitoes.

Potential areas to be treated are uninhabited, wetland areas located in the following MUNICIPALITIES : Andover Township, Hampton Township, Hardyston Township, Hopatcong Borough, Lafayette Township, Town of Newton, Sussex Borough, Vernon Township and Wantage Township

NOTE!!!! THIS IS NOT A LIQUID OR AEROSOL SPRAY. This application is targeting the aquatic larval stage of the mosquito development. Treatments are NOT being conducted over residential areas.
