Update Regarding Bankruptcy Noticing Center Service Interruption

October 14, 2026

The Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) continues to experience a national disruption to its services. This disruption impacts the system that processes notices and the following websites: bnc.uscourts.gov, bankruptcynotices.uscourts.gov, notices.uscourts.gov, and the National Creditor Registration Service website that supports CM/ECF access to address labels. During this disruption, the Court will continue to accept filings, open cases, and process documents, however, noticing activities may be delayed or disrupted until this matter is resolved. In accordance with Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 9006(b), parties may request the Court extend or reset deadlines or continue hearings as necessary to address the BNC service disruption.

This service disruption does not affect Notices of Electronic Filing (NEFs) sent to registered CM/ECF users.

We will provide an update when more information is available or services are restored.

The BNC disruption is also affecting CM/ECF users access to the mailing matrix. Until the service disruption is resolved, CM/ECF users seeking to serve pleadings and other notices or orders may access the list of creditors and addresses within a case by doing the following:

Accessing the List of Creditors:

  1. Select "Query" from the top menu in CM/ECF.
  2. Input the case number and select the "Run Query" button.
  3. Select the "Creditor" link.
  4. The next screen will ask what Creditor type that you are searching. You may leave the "Creditor type" selection blank and select "Run Query" to list all creditors.
  5. The next screen will display the list of the creditors and addresses to assist with service.

Please note that the list of creditors does not include all interested parties to a case, such as the debtor(s), trustees, or the U.S. Trustee. Therefore, parties and counsel should review service requirements to ensure that notice is provided to all appropriate parties, including those not listed on CM/ECF's list of creditors.
