House Passes Bill to Protect Energy Supply and Lower Energy Costs

WASHINGTON-Today, the House passed H.R. 3638, the Electric Supply Chain Act, led by Rep. Bob Latta (R-Ohio). The bill requires the Department of Energy to regularly review risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chains for electricity generation, transmission, and key grid components, helping prevent outages and lower energy costs for American families.

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) and Rep. Latta released the following statements:
