Autopsy Results from Suspicious Death on May 18, 2026, in Manchester, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Peter A. Marr announce additional information regarding the suspicious death of an adult male that occurred on May 18, 2026, in Manchester.

The deceased victim has been identified as Christopher Marcoux, age 25, of Manchester, New Hampshire. An autopsy was conducted earlier today by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The Chief Medical Examiner has determined that the cause of Mr. Marcoux's death was a stab wound to the abdomen, and the manner of his death is homicide.

The investigation into Mr. Marcoux's death is ongoing. Based upon the investigation conducted to date, there is no known threat to the general public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation.
