WFTU General Secretary meeting with the new director of the ILO ACTRAV
The WFTU General Secretary, Pambis Kyritsis, met with the new Director of the ILO Bureau for Workers´ Activities (ACTRAV), Oliver Röpke in Geneva on April 23rd, 2026 in the framework of the 356th Governing Body of the ILO.
The discussion was focused of the current development and the polycrisis within the ILO and the situation of the Workers globally.
The WFTU GS analised the positions of the class-oriented trade union movement regarding the global developments and underlined the firm demand for a democratic and proportional representation of the trade union currents in the Governing bodies ILO.
