We've seen unprecedented moves in the Natural Gas space over the weekend and continuing to today. The front month contract is trading over $6.00, but more importantly, we are seeing the summer move up as well. There is chatter in the weather community that February is going to be colder than normal so storage levels will draw down to very low levels. The marginal Producer is pricing around $4 dollars, so we probably need the summer to move up another $0.20 to $0.40 cents to incentivize new production to come online.

U.S. natural gas prices surged above $6 for the first time since late 2022 on Monday as a huge winter storm swept across the country, leaving hundreds of thousands without power and forcing mass flight cancellations.
