Material Agreement (Form 8-K)

On September 23, 2026, MediciNova, Inc. (the "Company") amended its Lease (the "Lease"), dated July 20, 2021, between the Company and the Irvine Company LLC pursuant to a First Amendment to the Lease, dated as of September 23, 2026 (the "Amendment"), by and between the Company and Newport Gateway Office LLC. Pursuant to the Amendment, among other things, the parties extended the end date of the Lease from January 31, 2027 to April 30, 2030, unless sooner terminated in accordance with the terms of the Lease, and agreed to certain rent increases taking effect on February 1, 2027.
