Arboretum LifeSciences Emerges from Stealth Mode with a $30 Million Series A Financing

Arboretum LifeSciences ("Arboretum"), a Massachusetts-based precision medicine company, emerged from stealth mode in October 2026 and announced its $30 million Series A financing led by F-Prime, GV, .406 Ventures, Hims & Hers, Amber, and other leading healthcare investors.

Orrick represents Arboretum.

THE COMPANY

Founded by Broad Institute data science leaders, Arboretum operates as an AI-native molecular information company that provides clinical genetic testing and a collaborative research network to health systems. Through the network, health systems can identify patients at risk for preventable diseases, return actionable findings, and support precision clinical trials and genomic medicine. Arboretum also helps therapeutics developers run genomically stratified clinical programs and find new ways to commercialize. Together, these efforts aim to close the gap between developing new therapies and using them in patient care.

THE IMPACT

The funding will help Arboretum expand its network of leading healthcare delivery partners, which includes Advocate Health, Geisinger, Providence Healthcare, and Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVA). Through these partnerships, the company will continue working with providers to make genetic testing part of routine clinical care.

THE TEAM

Orrick's Mark Solakian and Jake Gatof lead the team that advises Arboretum LifeSciences, with invaluable support from David Sharrow, Jeremy Sherer, Amy Joseph, Thora Johnson, Dolph Hellman, Rozman Lynch, Megan McKnelly, Anna Booth, Daniel Scott, and Chelsea Smith.
