SailPoint appoints Toru Fukushima as Group Vice President in Japan

AUSTIN, Texas and JAPAN, Sept. 5, 2025 - SailPoint, Inc. Nasdaq: SAIL, a leader in enterprise identity security, today announced the appointment of Toru Fukushima as Group Vice President in Japan to further expand SailPoint's established presence in the region. In this role, Toru will focus on strengthening SailPoint's market strategy and operations in Japan.

SailPoint has had a presence in Japan since 2021 and supports the identity security needs of several local organizations.

Toru joins SailPoint with over 30 years of experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. He was most recently Country Manager in Japan for Medallia, a provider of customer and employee experience platforms. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at large corporations such as Microsoft, Dell Technologies and Getronics Olivetti (now NTT Data), and organizations like BEA Systems (now part of Oracle), Splunk (now Cisco), and Sterling Commerce (now part of IBM). In these roles, he led go-to-market strategies with a focus on driving business growth and was also responsible for building strong and positive team cultures.
