Highland Park Bridge Ramp Inspection Next Week in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA- PennDOT District 11 is announcing ramp inspection work on the southern end of the Highland Park Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Wednesday, October 23 and Friday, October 25 weather permitting.

​Inspection work at the southern end of the Highland Park Bridge will occur according to the following schedule:

  • Wednesday, October 23 - Inspection work conducted by Markosky Engineering, Inc. will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A single-lane restriction will occur on Washington Boulevard (Route 8) at the on and off-ramps from the bridge.

  • Friday, October 25 - Inspection work conducted by the Azalea Group and the Pittsburgh Rigging Company will occur from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ramp narrowing and traffic shifts will occur on both the on and off-ramps from the bridge.
