Lane closures on I-435 and NW Cookingham Dr, Mar. 16 - Nov. 20th

PLATTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will CLOSE the following lanes in Platte County for the replacement of the NW Cookingham Drive bridge over Interstate 435. Please see traffic modifications below. All work is weather permitting.

7:00 AM Monday, Mar. 16 - 4:00 PM Friday, Nov. 20

• Eastbound and westbound NW Cookingham Drive, between Outer Road and North Platte Purchase Drive, CLOSED in both directions. A signed detour will be in place.

8:00 PM Friday, Mar. 27 - 5:00 AM Monday, Mar. 30

• Access to/from I-435 at NW Cookingham Drive will be CLOSED. A signed detour will be in place.
• I-435 EB/WB will be utilizing the on and off ramps to go up and over and maintain travel on I-435.
• I-435 will be reduced from three lanes to one lane.
• The on and off ramps have been reduced to one lane.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
