Shapiro Administration Announces $100 Million for Public EV Chargers in Communities as Pennsylvania Continues To Lead the Nation in NEVI Program

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) launched the Community Charging phase of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program , continuing the Commonwealth's role as the national leader in the NEVI program. Through the Community Charging funding rounds, the Shapiro Administration will direct $100 million in federal funding to build public EV charging stations in Pennsylvania communities.
