Michael Fernández Appointed Secretary of the New York City Bar Association

NEW YORK, May 22, 2026 - Michael Fernández, a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Department, has been appointed secretary of the New York City Bar Association. He will serve a one-year term. The New York City Bar Association aims to equip and mobilize a diverse legal profession to practice with excellence, promote legal reform, and uphold the rule of law and access to justice in support of a fair society and public interest. In his role as secretary, Michael will record the proceedings of all Association meetings and oversee the mailing of notices for all meetings.

Michael focuses on representing international and domestic clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, international arbitrations, and regulatory compliance matters. He is experienced in issues concerning complex jurisdictional issues and cross-border discovery matters.
