COLUMBUS - State Representative Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon), a member of the Ohio House Pro-Life Caucus, was pleased to join thousands of fellow Ohioans at the Statehouse for the annual Ohio March for Life.
Ohioans came together to celebrate the sanctity of life and discuss the importance of creating and supporting a culture of life in Ohio. In addition to Rep. Mathews', the event featured speakers representing groups such as the Abortion Survivors Network, Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio, Bella Vita Network, Potter's House, and Center for Christian Virtue. One mother spoke and brought her daughter saved by abortion pill reversal.
"Today, as we gather under the theme "Life: Why We March," we're reminded of the profound truth that every human life - from the newly conceived to her mother, from the healthy to the infirm - is a masterpiece of inherent dignity at every stage," said Mathews from the stage. "In Ohio, we're committed to building a culture where life thrives." Mathews also discussed the multiple pro-life victories in the state budget and current legislation.
Members of the Pro-Life Caucus also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 25 pregnancy centers located all across the state.
The Ohio House Pro-Life Caucus comprises state representatives dedicated to creating policy that protects life, empowers women, and strengthens families across the state.
