Green Tee Waterline Replacement Project

The City of Pearland's Engineering and Capital Projects Department's contractor Underground Construction Solutions, LLC will begin work on a waterline pipe improvement project set to start in late September 2025 and conclude by June 2027. The project will strategically replace approximately 6.4 miles of aging water line infrastructure within the Green Tee subdivision.

All existing 2-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch waterline pipes will be up-sized with either 6-inch or 8-inch PVC pipe. The project will also include replacing customers' water meter service lines and the replacement and addition of fire hydrants throughout the included area.

The project outcome anticipates an increase in overall reliability of the water distribution system in the subdivision, including higher flow capacities and water pressures, improved water quality, and a reduction in water loss due to broken waterlines. The City does note that completion dates and milestones may fluctuate based on weather conditions, site factors, and/or necessary scheduling adjustments.
