Dagsboro Fire


The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a commercial structure fire that was reported on November 4, 2025 shortly after 3:30 PM in the 28000 block of Quarter Mile Drive Dagsboro, Delaware.

The Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company and assisting mutual aid fire companies arrived on scene and found a commercial vehicle repair garage with fire and smoke showing. The structure was occupied and operating at the time of the fire. All occupants were able to escape without injury.

Delaware Deputy State Fire Marshals responded to the scene and conducted an origin and cause investigation. The fire was determined to be Accidental in nature and occurred when gasoline vapors became ignited during a vehicle repair operation on the interior of the repair garage. Damage is estimated at $800000. There were no other reported injuries.
