City of Pueblo Celebrates Three Honorees for 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Awards

PUEBLO-The City of Pueblo is proud to congratulate three honorees for the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pueblo's 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Awards. Pueblo City Councilor Brett Boston, Pueblo City Clerk Marisa Stoller and City of Pueblo Firefighter Paulina Morales all will receive the award at the 2025 ceremony on Saturday, June 14.

"We're proud to see three representatives of the City of Pueblo included in the award ceremony for the work and dedication to our community," said Mayor of Pueblo Heather Graham. "Not only do our city employees and representatives showcase the next generation of leadership, but they are being honored alongside our community's top-tiered talent who make a significant impact in Pueblo," said Graham.

City Councilor Brett Boston has been an appointed member of council since June 2024. He is also a local business owner of Southwest Grill. Boston currently holds board seats with the Pueblo Urban Renewal (PURA) Authority, Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo (HARP) Foundation, Pueblo Area Council of Governments (PACOG) and the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Pueblo City Clerk Marisa Stoller has worked for the City of Pueblo since April 2021. She has been a board member of the Southern Colorado Economic Development District since 2019, is the current president of the Friends of the Library Board, member of the YMCA board of directors since 2022 and is a middle school mentor with United Way of Pueblo County. Stoller has been a member since 2021 of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and the Colorado Municipal Clerks Association.

City of Pueblo Firefighter Paulina Morales has been with the department since November 2022. In addition to her duty as a firefighter, she is also a registered nurse. Morales is a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) proctoring cadre member, Bunker Gear Committee member and Academy Teaching Assistant for the Fire Department. She has participated in the assistance Leage of Pueblo's "Operation School Bell" fashion show, raised funds through the Fire Department to provide Christmas gifts for school children and the "Fill the Boot" campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Additionally, she has her Wildland Red Card and is a Local No. 3 Executive Board Member.

Award Winners have brought honor to the local community and are viewed as an up-and-coming leader, demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in their field of work or study, and earned other awards, honors or accreditations. This is the fifth annual event for the 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Awards. A full list of honorees is available on the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pueblo's Facebook page.

The awards ceremony takes place at the Colorado State University Pueblo Occhiato Ballroom on Saturday, June 14. The cocktail hour begins at 6:00 p.m. with the awards ceremony beginning at 7:00 p.m.
