County Executive Marcus Henry seeks applicants for open seats on boards and commissions

NEW CASTLE - New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry is calling for applicants for several of the county's advisory boards and commissions. Applicants must be New Castle County residents and should have a professional background in the board or commission's subject area. Successful applicants will be appointed to positions by New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry or the New Castle County Council and must be confirmed by the New Castle County Council.

• Audit Committee
• Design Review Advisory Committee of Centerville
• Design Review Advisory Committee of Claymont
• Design Review Advisory Committee of Hockessin
• Design Review Advisory Committee of St. Georges
• Diversity Commission
• Ethics Commission
• Fire Service Strategic Planning Committee
• Financial Advisory Council - Registered as Independent Party
• Human Resources Advisory Board
• Planning Board
• Police Accountability Board
• Resource Protection Area Technical Advisory Committee (Chemical Industry Rep.)

Some boards and commissions have specific rules regard how many members of a given political party can serve at a time; therefore, some applicants may be asked about the political affiliation to ensure their potential appointment complies with those requirements.
