Under the leadership of Chief Michael Browning, the team has set a high standard of service and accountability that benefits every patient, visitor, and staff member.
Over the past year, the department has elevated its performance in remarkable ways. Staff across SGMC Health consistently praise the team's responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond. Their presence ensures safety and fosters a sense of trust and reassurance throughout every campus.
Representing the team at the recognition ceremony were Major Ben Graham, whose leadership has strengthened SGMC Health's culture of accountability; Captain Theodis Ponder, whose steady judgment under pressure has been invaluable; Captain Joe Alls, whose operational expertise and teamwork set a strong example; Captain Martin Mollay, whose attention to detail has enhanced security practices; and Captain Sophia Bridges, whose integrity and work ethic inspire those around her.
