TRAFFIC ALERT: Overnight closures on U.S. 50 in Jackson County for pavement work, May 13 - 14

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various closures on U.S. 50 for pavement work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM on Thursday, May 14

  • Crews will close the turn lane on WB U.S. 50 to Buckner Tarsney Road

Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM on Thursday, May 14

  • Crews will close the second lane on WB U.S. 50 just after the bridge over Chipman Road

Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM on Thursday, May 14

  • Crews will close the EB I-470 ramp to EB U.S. 50 and the second lane on EB U.S. 50 at Chipman Road

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
