Amazon Leo, formerly Project Kuiper, is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network, aiming to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities beyond the reach of existing networks. Our initial satellite constellation will include more than 3,000 spacecraft, which we began deploying in April 2025 when we sent our first 27 satellites into space. That mission was the first of more than 100 to deploy our constellation.

Amazon's LA-05 (Leo Atlas 5) mission is set for Monday, March 30, launching aboard a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission will send another batch of Amazon Leo satellites into space, where they will join the more than 200 Leo satellites already in orbit around the planet.
LA-05 is the fifth of eight Leo missions aboard Atlas V, and the ninth mission since beginning a full-scale deployment last April. Launch window and livestream details will be available closer to the mission.
