Summer Camp Staff Hiring Event March 16-19 at Centennial Park Recreation Center

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (March 5, 2026) - Charlotte County Community Services is hosting a Camp Staff Hiring Event from 6 to 8 p.m., March 16-19 at Centennial Park Recreation Center, 1120 Centennial Blvd., Port Charlotte.

Community Services is seeking enthusiastic individuals to fill summer camp positions at locations in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Englewood.

Available positions:

Camp Counselor - Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour.

Camp Supervisor - Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour.

Candidates who hold a valid teaching certificate will receive an additional $1 per hour.

Summer camp positions are typically scheduled for up to 40 hours per week, with schedules varying based on program needs. Camp operates Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Applicants attending the hiring events are asked to bring two forms of government-issued identification.
