SB U.S. 61 in Cape Girardeau County Reduced for Pavement Repairs
SIKESTON-Southbound U.S. Route 61 (S. Kingshighway) will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as construction crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Brittany Drive in Jackson, Missouri to Kurre Lane in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 18 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near these areas.
