Diversified Energy Hosts Free Youth Football Camp for 230 Local Students

Morgantown, WV - Diversified Energy, in partnership with West Virginia University and Gold & Blue Enterprises, hosted a free football camp on July 9th, welcoming over 230 students, Kindergarten through 8th grade, from local communities to Milan Puskar Stadium. The day was filled with skill-building and mentorship with students learning directly from WVU football players.

"We're proud to support a camp that gives young athletes the chance to learn, grow and build confidence alongside outstanding role models," said Rusty Hutson, Jr., CEO of Diversified Energy. "Whether it's developing new skills, making new friends or simply having fun, experiences like these can leave a lasting impact. Investing in young people and strengthening the communities where we live and work is central to who we are at Diversified.

Diversified employees played a key role in managing the camp logistics by serving as volunteers, overseeing hydration stations, providing cooling zones, and distributing t-shirts, water bottles, and other swag items.

"Not every kid has the opportunity to attend camps like this, so being able to offer it for free makes a real difference," said Ben Cutter, WVU football student-athlete. "It's awesome to spend the day with young athletes, encourage them to work hard and have fun, and hopefully inspire them the way others inspired us. We're grateful to Diversified Energy for making this camp possible and for investing in kids and communities across West Virginia."

This year marked the fifth time Diversified Energy has brought together students from across West Virginia for this event. The camp has become an annual tradition, reinforcing Diversified's core value of community engagement and making a lasting difference for local communities.
