Sterling Realty Organization Names Ko Choi Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer

Skilled Finance Executive Brings 15 Years of Experience in Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets, Treasury and Financial Leadership to New Role Supporting Company's Long-Term Growth

Bellevue, Wash. - August 3, 2026 -Sterling Realty Organization (www.SterlingRealty.com) 'SRO', a fifth-generation real estate corporation with commercial real estate assets in the Puget Sound and Salt Lake City markets, today announced it has named Ko Choi Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, further strengthening SRO's leadership team as the company's long-term growth continues.

In her new role, Choi will oversee SRO's capital markets and treasury functions, financial planning and accounting operations, tax strategy, shareholder communications and human resources. Working closely with executive leadership, she will focus on supporting SRO's financial strength, strategic investments and continued expansion across the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West.

New Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer: Ko Choi

With more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Choi comes to SRO from Kemper Development Company, where she most recently served as Chief Financial Officer. In that role, she oversaw capital markets, accounting, tax, treasury, risk management and information technology systems for the company's diversified real estate portfolio.

During her tenure at Kemper, Choi advanced through several leadership roles while supported the sourcing and closing of more than $1 billion in senior and mezzanine financing across multiple asset types and, over the past 12 months alone, helped close approximately $440 million in financing transactions.

Choi also led estate tax planning initiatives at Kemper and played key roles in land acquisitions and dispositions, and 1031 exchange transactions. Among her proudest accomplishments are leading the company's accounting and IT teams as CFO while contributing to the development of the landmark Lincoln Square Expansion in Bellevue.

Prior to joining Kemper Development Company, Choi worked at Deloitte Tax, where she specialized in real estate taxation and advised clients on complex partnership and pass-through entity structures. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a Masters of Professional Accounting-Tax from the University of Washington.
