Ban on the deportation of foreign nationals serving under contract in the Russian Armed Forces

The federal law establishes a prohibition on decisions concerning deportation, readmission, shortening temporary stay in the Russian Federation, denying issuance or cancelling a permission for temporary residence, denying issuance or cancelling a permission for temporary residence for the purpose of studying, denying issuance or cancelling a residence permit, denying entry to the Russian Federation, and declaring a foreign national or stateless person as undesirable to stay (reside) in the Russian Federation, for persons who are serving under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or in military units of the Russian Federation, or have previously served in such a capacity and participated in combat operations.
