NATCHITOCHES - Northwestern State University's Office of Electronic Learning and Global Education will offer a 40-Hour Basic Private Investigator Training Course on Jan. 31- Feb. 2 and Feb. 7-9in the second-floor classroom of South Hall on NSU's Natchitoches campus.
The class will be on Friday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The fee is $375 plus an additional $100 board fee due on Feb. 9 made payable to the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners.
The Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners (LSBPIE) 40-Hour Basic Private Investigator Training Course is meticulously designed to equip private investigators with a comprehensive understanding of the following areas: Louisiana private investigator law, constitutional principles, gun laws, criminal law and procedure, state and federal legal systems, relevant laws to private investigators, evidence, discovery, domestic investigations, surveillance, reports and other relevant areas to the private investigative industry in Louisiana.
