Missouri Department of Labor Recognizes Woodland for Longest‑Active SHARP Designation During Labor Day Visit

Linn Creek, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations celebrated Labor Day last week with a visit to Woodland in Linn Creek, honoring the company's achievement as the longest active participant in Missouri's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP), first joining SHARP in 1993.

Director Anna Hui joined Woodland leadership and employees for a tour and recognition ceremony, highlighting the company's exemplary commitment to workplace safety.

"Labor Day honors the contributions of Missouri workers, and Woodland represents the very best of that dedication to growth and safety," Director Hui said. "Their long-standing SHARP participation shows how a strong safety culture supports employees, strengthens business performance, and benefits the entire community."

Woodland operates 14 buildings and supports multiple brand lines used by hobbyists, educators, and consumers worldwide. Despite the complexity of its operations - which include off-site trade show work, product development, and robust manufacturing - Woodland maintains one of Missouri's strongest safety cultures.

The Department selected Woodland for its Labor Day event to highlight the essential role of Missouri workers and employers who prioritize safety, innovation, and economic growth.
