Visiting Scholar Dr. Richard M. Cash to speak on self-regulation classroom strategies Nov. 12 and Nov. 13

Dr. Richard M. Cash, award-winning educator and author, will present "Self-Regulation Classroom Strategies for K-12 Students" at Minnesota State Moorhead as the College of Education and Human Services visiting scholar. The free presentations are open to the public, where he will share strategies and tools for self-regulation that parents, educators, and school staff can utilize and teach students.

The first presentation, suitable for everyone, will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. The second presentation will be directed toward educators and school staff, including more interactive opportunities, on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Both events take place in the university's Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom with virtual options on Zoom. Educators may earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by attending this event.

Cash is an internationally recognized education consultant with over 30 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and program administration. He holds advanced degrees in educational leadership and curriculum and instruction and has worked with educators across the U.S. and in more than a dozen countries.
