A Pavilion of Culinary Excellence
The EU's pavilion, a highlight of the event, celebrated the quality, authenticity, and sustainability of European food products. The attendees explored an array of premium European offerings, including fine cheeses, gourmet meats, extra virgin olive oils, fresh fruits, and exquisite chocolates. The pavilion's interactive format, featuring live cooking demos and tasting sessions, attracted a large audience eager to sample the best of Europe.
Chef Ajay Chopra Headlines Day 1
Indian culinary icon and More Than Food Campaign Ambassador, Chef Ajay Chopra, inaugurated the pavilion with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony. Chef Chopra highlighted European culinary innovation by creating a fusion recipe featuring goat cheese from France, Azeite de Trás-os-Montes PDO olive oil from Portugal, and honey-roasted ham from Belgium.
Live cooking demonstrations captivated the audience as Chef Chopra, joined by Chef Rakhee Vaswani, presented unique creations like Sea Salt and Gouda Cookies with Tomato Jam and Chorizo and Mushroom Feta Spring Rolls with Paprika Grapes Chutney.
