Striping Work at Intersection of State Route 35 and 84 for Four Corners Safety Improvements

San Mateo County - Caltrans crews are scheduled to begin striping work at the State Route 35 (Skyline Boulevard) and State Route 84 (La Honda Road) intersection, commonly known as the Four Corners Intersection, beginning Monday, September 28.

Crews will work tentatively between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. through Wednesday, September 30, to upgrade pavement striping and lane delineation within the intersection.

Motorists should expect the following during construction:

• Changeable message signs and traffic delineations will be in place to guide motorists and improve safety through the work area.
• One-way traffic control may be in effect between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to allow crews to safely complete the work.
• Motorists may experience minor delays while traveling through the intersection.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down, follow posted signs and traffic control, and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

The striping work is part of the larger Four Corners Safety Improvement Project, which includes additional safety improvements planned for the intersection.
