New Permanent Representative of Madagascar presents credentials

VIENNA, 29 July (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Madagascar to the United Nations (Vienna), Edelin Calixte Randriamiandrisoa, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Monica Juma.

During his career Mr. Randriamiandrisoa has served in various capacities, among them:

Board Member, The Global Fund (2022-2025); Chair, Country Coordinating Mechanism, The Global Fund, Madagascar (2015-2021); Coordinator, Maritime Information Fusion Centre, Prime Minister's Office (2015-2018); Special Adviser to the Prime Minister (2015-2018); Inspector General, Civil Aviation of Madagascar (2013-2014); Minister of Environment and Forests (2009-2010); Special Adviser to the Prime Minister (2009); Technical Adviser to the Minister of Tourism (2009); Technical Adviser to the Minister of Armed Forces (2008-2009); Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, State Secretariat for Decentralization (2004-2005); Technical Adviser to the Minister for Decentralization and Autonomous Provinces, Office of the President (2002-2003); Director of Administration and Finance, Civil Aviation of Madagascar (1999-2002); Director of Administrative Affairs, Military Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic (1997-2002); Director of Administration and Finance, Ministry of Trade and Consumer Affairs (1998-1999); Senior Adviser for the Civil Service (1997-1998); Director of Administration and Finance, Ministry of Industrialization and Handicrafts (1997-1998); and Director of Administration and Finance, Presidential Military Staff Headquarters (1996-1997).

Mr. Randriamiandrisoa holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from HEC Paris in partnership with Boston College, Massachusetts and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and Financial Services from the National Institute of Accounting and Business Administration (INSCAE), Madagascar.
