Saint Francis University's Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program is preparing to celebrate a major milestone this summer with its 25th SFU MOT Class Celebration, taking place on June 20, 2026.
The anniversary event will bring together alumni, faculty, staff, and supporters to reflect on 25 years of preparing occupational therapy professionals and to celebrate the community that has grown around the program.
Since its founding, the SFU MOT program has educated generations of occupational therapists who have gone on to serve patients and communities across a wide range of healthcare settings.
Built on a foundation of service, compassion, and professional excellence, the program has remained focused on preparing graduates to make meaningful differences in people's daily lives through occupational therapy practice.
The 25th anniversary serves as an opportunity to celebrate not only the program's accomplishments but also the students, faculty, alumni, and partners who have contributed to its continued success.
Hear a message from Dr. Don Walkovich, founding chair of the MOT program, as he reflects on the program's beginnings, its growth over the last 25 years, and the community that continues to shape its future.
While the anniversary celebrates a meaningful chapter in the program's history, it also represents an opportunity to look ahead.
As Saint Francis University's Master of Occupational Therapy program enters its next era, it remains committed to preparing future occupational therapy leaders who will continue to transform lives through care, advocacy, and service.
The SFU community looks forward to welcoming alumni back to campus this June to celebrate 25 years of impact-and the many years still to come.
Saint Francis University's Master of Occupational Therapy program combines hands-on experiences, expert faculty mentorship, and flexible pathways to prepare future occupational therapists for meaningful careers in healthcare.
