WASHINGTON, D.C. - Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine met with Belgian Chief of Defense Gen. Frederik Vansina on Monday, June 16th, 2025.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed Belgian support to Ukraine, the future of the NATO Alliance and Belgian defense modernization.
Belgium is a key NATO ally and shares a strong partnership with the U.S. around the globe.
