Michelin appoints Terry Redmile chief people officer in North America

GREENVILLE, S.C., November 05, 2026 - Michelin Group has named Terry Redmile the next chief people officer for Michelin North America, Inc.

Redmile is responsible for employee-facing functions across the North America Region, including attracting, developing and retaining top talent.

"Terry understands our business, but more importantly, he understands our employees," said Matthew Cabe, president and CEO of Michelin North America, Inc. "His foundation in manufacturing and engineering gives him a firsthand understanding of where so many of our employees work every day and what they need to succeed. That perspective will be invaluable in this role."

Redmile brings more than 30 years of experience with Michelin, beginning his career as a co-op student at Michelin's research and development center in Greenville. Since then, he has held a breadth of leadership roles across the company, including quality engineer and site director of Michelin's Fort Wayne, Indiana, manufacturing facility. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of manufacturing operations for the Americas.

"The strength of Michelin has always been rooted in the strength of our talented teams," Redmile said. "I've had the privilege of working alongside employees across our operations, and they are at the heart of what drives us forward. I want to build on that foundation and help our people continue to learn, innovate and shape what comes next for our industry."

Redmile earned a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
