PrideFest Presents Annual Drag Show: Monster Ball

Join Millersville's 12th annual PrideFest on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, in the Student Memorial Center's Multi-Purpose Room 114, with activities starting at 4:30 p.m. and concluding with the annual drag show at 7 p.m.

Millersville University's annual PrideFest celebrates National Coming Out Day and students in the LGBTQIA community, providing a welcoming space for all through activities and unity.

Andrew Kline '23, a history graduate student and chair of the planning committee, explains the importance of holding PrideFest at Millersville: "The reason PrideFest keeps happening is because it is a fun event. It brings everyone in the community together, not just LGBTQIA individuals, but everyone, regardless of different backgrounds. Through this event, we hope to show that Millersville University is a safe space for students to express themselves authentically."

This year's activities include gay bingo, a drag queen meet-and-greet, various local business vendors, face painting, a balloon artist, giveaways, a unicorn bounce house and more.

Following tradition, PrideFest will close with a drag show. This year, the Monster Ball-themed production is hosted by Philadelphia queen Stefani Steel, with special guests VinChelle and Mz. Peaches and Stormi Skye. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the performance will begin at 7 p.m.

"The drag show will be fun. I am excited for everyone to experience these talented queens and witness their incredible performances," adds Kline.
