BOZEMAN - The Associated Students of Montana State University will host its first Friday Night Festival and Bobcat Drone Show on Sept. 26 during Homecoming week.
The festival, which is free and open to the public, will include food trucks, lawn games and live music featuring the local band Retrograde from 7 to 9 p.m. at MSU's Dyche Field. At 9 p.m., attendees can watch 200 drones launch from the field and create MSU-themed images in the sky.
"Our goal is to spark a new Homecoming tradition - one that is fun and engaging for students while highlighting the pillars of Homecoming: leadership, service and involvement," said Finn Growney, vice president of ASMSU.
MSU's Homecoming week begins Monday, Sept. 22, and culminates in a football game against Eastern Washington University and a volleyball game against Portland State University on Saturday, Sept. 27. For a full list of Homecoming events, visit montana.edu/news/24767/.
