SPRINGFIELD, IL - The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) is helping shoppers make the holidays a little more memorable with two special sales featuring the lowest prices of the season on Illinois State Fair passes and gift boxes filled with Illinois Product favorites.

Beginning November 9, fairgoers can get a head start on summer fun with the Illinois State Fair Holiday Sale. Whether shopping for the fair enthusiast in your life or planning ahead for your own summer adventures, holiday pricing offers the best opportunity to save on admission and carnival rides at the 2027 Illinois State Fair. Holiday pricing includes:

• Mega Pass - $70: Unlimited carnival rides every day of the Illinois State Fair.
• Jumbo Pass - $80: All the benefits of a Mega Pass, plus unlimited rides on the Giant Slide.
• 11-Day Adult Admission Bundle - $45
• 11-Day Senior Admission Bundle - $30
• Blue Ribbon Cookbook - $20 for in-person purchases or $25 shipped.

These are the lowest Mega and Jumbo Pass prices of the season, available through December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

For those looking to give a taste of Illinois this holiday season, IDOA is also offering its popular Illinois Product Gift Boxes, featuring a curated selection of locally made products from Illinois businesses. Two gift box options will be available:

• Illinois Product Favorites Box - $60
• Illinois Product Holiday Box - $40

Filled with your favorite Illinois Products, these boxes offer a convenient way to shop local and share a little homegrown holiday cheer with family, friends and coworkers.

"Whether you're picking up passes for next summer or gifting some of your favorite Illinois Products, there's something for everyone."

NEW FOR 2026: Convenient Pass Delivery Options

For the first time, customers purchasing Mega or Jumbo Passes during the Illinois State Fair Holiday Sale can upload their photo during checkout and have their completed passes mailed directly to their home in January 2027!

Customers who take advantage of this convenient new option can skip the in-person redemption process entirely, provided their uploaded photo meets the Fair's established photo guidelines.

Prefer not to upload a photo? No problem! Customers can still purchase their passes during the Holiday Sale and redeem them in person beginning in June 2027.

All customers will receive an email confirmation of their purchase, regardless of which option they select.

This new photo-upload and mail-delivery pilot program is available exclusively during the 2026 Holiday Sale.

Illinois State Fair Mega Passes, Jumbo Passes, admission bundles and Blue Ribbon Cookbooks can be purchased at statefair.illinois.gov beginning November 9.
