DDOT to Host Pennsylvania Avenue SE and Minnesota Avenue SE Intersection Safety Improvement Project Meetings on Feb. 18 and Feb. 21

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) invites you to attend a public meeting to share the final design for safety improvements for the Pennsylvania Avenue and Minnesota Avenue SE Intersection and adjacent streets. A virtual meeting will be held on WebEx on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 6 PM - 8 PM, and an in-person meeting will be held at Lawrence E. Boone Elementary School, 2200 Minnesota Avenue SE, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11 AM - 1 PM.

TO PARTICIPATE: Come to the auditorium at Lawrence E Boone Elementary School on Saturday February 21, 2026 to receive an overview of the final design for the Pennsylvania and Minnesota Ave SE Intersection Safety Improvements Project. This is an opportunity to see a visual of the final design and learn about the planned construction timeline. DDOT staff will be available to answer questions. Parking is available on the street around the school and the location is accessible by metrobus on either the C31 (formerly the V2) or the C15 (formerly the B2).

Materials from this meeting will be made available at https://pennsylvania-minnesota-safety-improvement-dcgis.hub.arcgis.com/ within 48 hours of the conclusion of the meeting.
