The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) has re-published a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Environmental Assessment (EA), including a signed Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), for the Non-Capacity Amendment Application, Bartletts Ferry Project (DOE/EA-229).

Non-Capacity Amendment Application, Bartletts Ferry Project; Multiple Locations

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) has re-published a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Environmental Assessment (EA), including a signed Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), for the Non-Capacity Amendment Application, Bartletts Ferry Project (DOE/EA-229), to consider the environmental impacts associated with providing potential financial assistance (a federal loan guarantee) to the Georgia Power Company (GPC or Applicant) pursuant to its authority under the EIR Program. In its application, GPC has identified the Bartletts Ferry Generating Units 1-4 Upgrade Project (Project) - consisting of four generating units in the west powerhouse - for inclusion in the funding facility that is the subject of DOE's loan guarantee.
