Riverside General Plan Update & Climate Action and Adaptation Plan - Join us for a Community Workshop to Explore Land Use Alternatives

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The City of Riverside is shaping its future, and the community is leading the way! The City's General Plan Update (GPU) is continuing to guide how Riverside grows, develops, and thrives through 2050, grounded in the community's shared vision and priorities every step of the way. The City also is advancing its Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP), a forward-looking effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while strengthening resilience against climate change.

At the last workshop, the community members helped shape the conversation by sharing ideas and feedback on early land use concepts. Now that input has been brought to life, transformed into three refined land use alternatives that will be unveiled at our next workshop:

Saturday, May 2 | 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Salvation Army Riverside Corps
3695 1st St, Riverside, CA 92501

Spanish and ASL interpretation and refreshments will be provided.

All community members are encouraged to attend! Participants can explore the land use options shaped by community input, share feedback on the city's proposed land use plan, and help inform the direction of future planning decisions!
