Apply for the Summer Volunteen Program

Do you need volunteer service hours and want to be a part of a dynamic team while helping the community? Apply to be a Placentia Volunteen! High School and Junior High School students aged 13-16 who need volunteer service hours for graduation are encouraged to apply to assist our Community Services Staff with activities throughout the City. Service organizations are also encouraged to participate. Participants will have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training and develop friendships. Come help out with one of the many Community Services Department programs, such as Youth Sports, P.A.R.K.'s., or special events.

Participant Requirements Applicants must be 13 years of age by June 1, 2025, and reside within the city limits of Placentia or attend a PYLUSD school. Applications are available here or at the City of Placentia Community Services Department counter in City Hall. The deadline to apply is Thursday, May 8th, at 5:30 p.m.
