Chinese Consul General in Cape Town Ren Faqiang Attends Spring Festival Luncheon Hosted by WPCA
On February 22, Ren Faqiang, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Cape Town, attended a celebratory luncheon hosted by the Western Province Chinese Association (WPCA） to mark the arrival of the Chinese New Year. More than 300 representatives from the local Chinese community and various sectors of society gathered to celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse.
The event was filled with a vibrant festive atmosphere. Highlights included a traditional lion dance performed by the Cape Town Huaxing Art Troupe, which drew enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience. Consul General Ren extended his warmest New Year greetings to the guests, wishing everyone a prosperous and successful year ahead.
